I am 18 years of age and I am used to working with children because I babysit my neighbor's sons regulary. I train in the gym twice a week and I often go hiking to the countryside with my friends. In addition to this, I have a lifesaving certificate and have enjoyed swimming since I was a child.

My reason for applying for this position is that I am keen on combining my experience in swimming with my wide knowledge of the countryside which I think it will be interesting for the children.

I have just read your advertisement published in "The World" on Saturday 23 May. I would like to apply

First of all, swimming is one of my favorite activities. I used to swim in a club in Cambridge and I won a few competitions. Then, as I was too old to continue the championship, I became the coach of the team. Secondly, I am the father of two children who are eight and eleven years old. So, I am used to being with childen and I enjoy being with them.

I left my last job a few weeks ago because it wasn't suitable with what I wanted to do. I would like to change my professional life to teach for pleasure and not for competition. This could be a good opportunity for me. I would really want to work ; consequently I think that I have enough energy and motivation to do this job well.

I feel that I have the right experience and qualifications to do this job.
