The Best Film Which {***} {1}100 films from millions which were created in latest {2} years all around the world should be nominated to {3} TOP FILMS? A lot of films of average quality or with a poky {4} plot were made during several last years {5}. However, many briliant films were created too, but main part {6} of them will stay unknown for most of us for their regional character. The best film (from that part of films {7} which have had publicity in many different countries) from my point of view have to contain: the {8} clever and simple plot, intelligent jokes and something that could impress spectators.{***} Forrest Gump include all these ingredients. The main hero of {***} {9} very naturalistic story loves life with all its unpredictable situations and his way of solving problems is charming. If I had a chance to recommend only one film to all people I would recommend them to see Forrest Gump with his "stupid" ideas and his unusual behaviour which can open {***} {10}eyes of most people. |
| Feedback This is a really nice article, Martina. I like the way you slowly build up to telling the reader what film you have picked, and your enthusiasm for "Forrest Gump" shines through. There is a lot of vocabulary relating to film here, which is good. Your main language problems seem to be to do with your word choice. I have suggested alternatives that could make your writing sound a bit more natural; at the same time, there is a good range of language in the second half of your essay. The best film of all time - it's a quite difficult question. Although nowadays we can see a great number of films of all types, just a few of them teach us and make us think. However, when I saw the advertisement, immediately a title came into my mind: Trainspotting, which I saw two years ago for the first time. This film, based on a novel by Irvine Welsh, directed by Danny Boyle and with Ewan McGregor in the leading role, reveals the real world of the drug-addiction. It contains of terrifying pictures about suffering of some young Scottish boys and also about lack of their morality and how they lost their faith in everything. I suggest strongly that this excellent film should be in the top 100, because it pays attention to one of the biggest problems of present. Although it ends happily, people should realize that fates like this doesn't have to have such happy-ends in real life and that we should talk about this problem a lot. At the end of my article I'd like to suggest that everybody should see this film, even if it doesn't get into the top 100. I also hope that people finally wake up and start watching sensible films. |
