Use of English Information   About Part 6 Gapped text
You will read a short text of around 300 words which has 6 phrases or sentences missing. For each gap you have to select from 10 options (including the example) the missing phrase/sentence to complete each gap. In the exam you transfer your answer to a special answer sheet.

Dos and don'ts
Read the title and text through first of all. Try to anticipate what should go in the gap before you look at the 9 options. Features of grammar, vocabulary and punctuation in the surrounding context will give clues. Don't leave the answer sheet blank for any question. If you don't know the correct answer you should always make a guess.
